Happy Hump Day!!

Today is bread making day. Cookie dough day. Bagel day. It is definitely going to be a busy one. Homeschooling the oldest feral child.

Keeping the ranch going. It’ll all get done with the help of my kiddos. Teach em young, teach the right. Hard work isn’t always fun but it is rewarding. Teaching our children the right ways of life isn’t always fun but it is needed for their future in this world.

Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.

Today was supposed to be bread mixing day. I over hydrated my starter so it’s remaking starter day. 😂 I’ll be up late tonight to get the bread made to proof. 💩 happens!
Hubby is home so he is doing outside chores today! Win for me!!

Homemade marshmallows!
Super easy. Will work on presentation. They taste great!!

Marshmallows:
*1/2 cup warm water and 1/4 cup beef gelatin. Set aside.
*1/2 cup water and 1 cup honey or pure maple syrup. Boil for 5-7 min.
*slowly add honey mixture to gelatin mixture and whip on high to soft peaks.
Vanilla is optional.
*pour into lined or greased pan and let set up before cutting

This recipe gave me a 9x13 and a 8x8 pan.

Welp, Monday is here again! 💤☕️

Busy week prepping for market this coming weekend. Cookie dough 🍪 is being made today! At least some of it. Sourdough starter is gonna get started for dough prep this evening. 🥖
Outside chores are gonna get done. Homeschooling is gonna start in a couple of minutes! Children are fed and the coffee is hot!
