I had a a request to do some flooring that turned into a whole lot more. As I tore up the flooring I found mold, mold, and yet more mold. To the point I ripped out the entire kitchen and just about everything on the entire left side of the house on the first floor. When all was said and done there wasn’t a single part of the first floor that wasn’t touched and basically the entire floor was remodeled. I spent about 4 weeks in total fixing up an unlivable house and made it livable once again. There was a lot of effort done to get this house to the point it is at and with the budget given I feel like it came out wonderful. Now had it been my house I definitely would have done things differently but it’s not my house therefore I did what I was asked. This project was in the canterfield neighborhood of Harrisburg NC. I had a repeat customer call me and ask if I would upgrade their bathroom for them. Of course I agreed and asked what she needed done. She said she had a plumber that was going to install the new tub and shower walls and change the plumbing to go from a single sink vanity to a double sink vanity. All she needed me to do was remove the old vanity, take out the linen closet to open up the bathroom for the new double vanity, build a new linen closet outside of the bathroom, tile the floor, patch the walls that the plumber made a mess of, install new 3 piece crown molding inside the bathroom and rework the hallway where the the linen closet got added. Remove a door leading to a bedroom from the bathroom and paint the bathroom walls. Basically a complete overhaul minus the plumbing. I also added some picture framing in the downstairs hallway. I spent about 2 weeks completing the project and in the end had a very satisfied customer. We are already making plans for the next project. Project was in the ravenwood neighborhood of Charlotte NC. Had a customer call me to finish a bathroom after hiring one of those shower in a day companies that literally only did the shower and charged her almost $30k upfront. She also had me do some shelving in an additional laundry closet as well as the bathroom I finished. She chose to just patch in the flooring.

Here are some pictures of a bathroom I just finished in Stanley, NC. The house is only 6 years old and suffered severe water damage from a shower that looked nice on the outside but on the inside was improperly waterproofed. It must have been leaking for some time as when I started demo it had not been used in a month and the wood beneath was so saturated in water it squeezed out of the 2x4 used to frame the wall and bench. Thankfully I was able to come in and deliver the bathtub and shower area they dreamed of. The only direction I was given was the type of material and the style of faucets and tub. I did the rest and the absolutely love it.

Finished a bathroom floor for a repeat customer in Fort Mill SC. Closed in the old shower area and redid the baseboard moldings. He chose a herringbone pattern in a very unsquare room. Took some time to layout but in the end everything came out even and he is thrilled with the results!
