Bedford High School is nearly ready for the first day. While school will feel different this year, a few new spaces will hopefully be a bright moment for students and teachers.
This classroom is a new double size classroom with lots of natural light and windows. Originally a flexible student study space, this year it will provide additional classroom space for in-person learning.

TBA Architects, Inc. would like to share some exciting and important news.

Building on a legacy of serving the public purpose; TBA Architects Inc. joyfully announces the next era of our design firm will be directed by recently elected TBA President, Justin Humphreys, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP. As of April 1st, 2020, Justin took full ownership of the firm that he has worked for two decades to build with founding principals Robert S. Jefferies and M. Russel Feldman. Bob and Russ will continue to work with the TBA team in consulting roles, as we renew our commitment to innovative design that is focused on serving the public school and municipal communities of Massachusetts under Justin’s dedicated and decisive leadership.

Our dedication to your projects and our mission to serve the public purpose through creative and responsible architecture remains and is reinvigorated. This feeling is shared amongst our whole team.

The leadership transition has been ongoing internally for some time now. We have worked to ensure that the work we do with you continues seamlessly even as the prime contact person changes.

We know that the news of this comes at a trying time. Real connections with most are not possible right now. However, Justin has either already worked with you, met you, or is knowledgeable about your project. We have always worked as a team to be able to manage our work. And, Justin has lead TBA through the transition to remote work and continuation of projects during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Justin will soon reach out to you looking for your feedback on the status of projects and any other questions or concerns you may have. Please reach out by email or phone.

Thank you for your confidence and continued patronage of TBA.

All of us at TBA hope you and yours are healthy and remain so. I wanted to provide an update as to TBA’s operations as we all continue to adapt to the changing COVID-19 crisis.

In compliance with Monday’s announcement from the State of Massachusetts to close non-essential workplaces and the advice for residents to stay-at-home, we have closed our physical office. However, we continue to carry out our work fully remotely. All staff have remote access to TBA’s files and are reachable via email. We are also able to conference virtually as requested.

As always, we remain flexible and intend to make progress wherever possible for our clients.

Thank you all for your understanding and your willingness to carry on! Best wishes.

I hope this message finds you well. I am sending this message to let you know how TBA is operating during the present and unfolding COVID-19 crisis.

Our office will remain open for business with the intent of moving projects along on behalf of our clients and to positioning them for enthusiastic continuation in the future. However, our priority is ensuring our team members remain healthy. We are keeping abreast of the developing situation and are following CDC and MDPH guidance on social distancing and cleaning.

• Our offices are being cleaned regularly with cleaning products to disinfect work and common spaces.
• Meetings have been postponed or are being held virtually.
• Site visits will be made only as requested by Owners and Contractors.
• We ask that visitors to the office notify us in advance.

TBA has always been and will continue to be flexible and adapt to the changing situation. The choice of working from home or in the office has been given to our employees. Some have chosen to work remotely from home and some in the office which may vary over the coming weeks. The best way to reach our employees is via email.

We at TBA hope you and yours are healthy and remain so. Best wishes.
