Some energy isnāt seenā¦ itās felt.
āElectric Avenuesā came together in one of those moments where I stopped trying to control the outcome and just let the movement guide me. It felt like mapping something invisibleālike tracing the pathways of energy that run beneath the surface of everything.
These two canvases speak to each other, like currents traveling back and forth. The raised, flowing lines stretch and connect, almost like roadsā¦ or veinsā¦ or electric pulses finding their way through space. Thereās no beginning or endājust movement, connection, and flow.
The layers of tissue paper, cotton, and plaster created a foundation full of depth and texture, while the metallic teal and silver inks brought it to lifeāshifting and catching the light in a way that feels almost alive. Depending on how you look at it, it can feel calmingā¦ or chargedā¦ like a quiet hum of energy in the background.
Creating this piece was intuitiveāno plan, just trust. And in that, it became something that feels both modern and deeply organic at the same time.
