Halfway through on a roof replacement in Pierpont, OH.

Tear-off going, back side mid-install, and the full front view with the crew working.

Every inspection we do, we measure and we photograph. That documentation is what supports an insurance claim.

On this job, the homeowner had three deck penetrations from a small leaning tree. We pulled tape on every measurement, photographed each impact point, and pulled the trim back to show the fascia condition underneath. That report goes to the carrier with the claim.

The more clearly the damage is documented, the better the conversation with the adjuster.

What you're looking at: granule loss

Those bare patches aren't dirt or shadow. They're missing granules.

Granules block UV rays from cooking the asphalt underneath. Once they're gone, the sun does the rest. Shingle cracks, water gets in, decking rots.

Tear-off day. The old brown shingles had run their course, so we stripped down to deck, set our toe boards, and got the crew rolling.

Full replacement came together over a few days.
