Guess what?! My sweet Auntie Deborah Bell found this art contest for me here in my little city, and I have just finished my entry! It's a juried selection, so I won't get into the gallery unless I am accepted. Even if I don't win a thing, I am very excited to be taking this step to get my art out there in front of more people than my co-workers at App State, Hickory and my FB friends! Ha!

For those of you keeping track, I made changes to the "Time" piece I just posted a few days ago. I may have overworked it, but oh well--it is what it is. Also, my Nighttime Quiet piece was just finished yesterday! It was a real hit at work when I showed it yesterday and I will be teaching a class through our campus library this winter and we shopwing faculty, staff and students how to make a nighttime landscape! How fun! Wish me luck!
