Mature Japanese Maple transplanted today to be a centerpiece in a new garden installation. Very difficult access to the donor location, but the install spot could not have been easier. When creating new landscapes, consider transplanting plant material already on your property prior to opting for removal or replacement, especially when dealing with high value plants

A little bit of before - during - after. Good friend and client purchased this home, and after evaluating the plant material on site the decision was made to start fresh and remove everything prior to beginning interior renovations. 14 trees and 17 large overgrown shrubs were removed here, and stumps ground out as well, all in just 2 days. Small landscape refresh in Chestnut Hill today. Removed problematic, unnatural gravel, as well as some unfitting plants. Amended the soil, added new plantings, did some light restorative pruning to fix the work of a previous contractor, and installed new natural brown mulch. The result is a more tasteful, traditional landscape that fits the surrounding environment. Here is a good example of a more technical hazardous removal. Large co-dominant elm tree 30’ down a hill split in half and was suspended in another of our clients trees. Having the proper equipment definitely paid off for this job, and we left our clients with a clean and safe yard once work was complete. Fence removed, property protected, and all put back together once finished. Special thanks to our friend drew for coming out with the big iron to do the heavy lifting
