to everyone who has liked, followed, commented, and shared this page so far. It truly means a lot to me and my family.

Starting a small business is a big step, and seeing the encouragement and support from this community has been incredibly uplifting.

Every like, every follow, and every share helps more people learn about Be the Light, and I’m genuinely grateful for each one of you who has taken a moment to support what I’m building.

I look forward to lighting up homes, backyards, and events around our community and creating spaces where people gather and make memories.

Hello, everyone!
I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Cody Roberts, and I’m the owner of Be the Light, a local business specializing in holiday lighting, outdoor permanent lighting, and event lighting.

More importantly, I’m a husband, a father of seven amazing kids, and a follower of Jesus.
My faith and my family are the center of my life, and they’re a big part of why I started this business.

I’ve always loved the way lighting can completely change a space after the sun goes down. A home feels warmer. A backyard becomes a place where people gather. An event becomes something people remember.

That’s really the heart behind Be the Light; helping create spaces that feel welcoming, joyful, and full of life.

I’m excited to serve this community and help bring a little more light to homes, venues and neighborhoods.

There’s something special about a home after the sun goes down.
During the day, you see the house, the yard, the trees…

But at night, lighting changes everything.

A softly lit walkway feels welcoming. Lights along a roofline produce a warming glow.
Backyards with lights overhead create a certain ambiance.

It’s the kind of thing that makes neighbors slow down when they drive by… or friends linger a little longer in the backyard.
Moments like this are part of the reason I started Be the Light.

I love helping create spaces that feel warm, inviting, and memorable after sunset — whether it’s a home, a gathering with friends, or a special event.

💡 This month I’m offering a discounted install for the first 2–3 homes or events in exchange for photos and videos of the finished lighting so I can continue building my portfolio.

Hey friends! Thank you for stopping by to support me!

For those of you who don’t know me, I am a father of 7, a husband and a man of faith. Most days you will find me taking care of my littles, on Sunday you will find me with my church fam.

How did I come to the idea of wanting to Illuminate the Central Arkansas area, you ask?

I began installing holiday lights 3 years ago. I enjoy it so much that I have decided to expand. In addition to holiday lights, I will be installing outdoor permanent lighting, event lighting and eventually landscape lighting; this will include both residential and commercial.

To launch my business, I'm providing a discount while I am building my portfolio. If you or someone you know is interested, please reach out!
