Don't miss Uga's seed starting class this Saturday at Wheeler Park's garden. A lovely family of three generations of gardeners visited us today and are looking forward to attending the class on June 27.

The Master Gardeners and our community volunteers have been working hard to get our Plant a Row for the Hungry Garden going! On Monday we harvested 107 pounds of produce which we delivered to the Rockdale Emergency Relief food bank. The garden is located at 1400 Parker Road, and volunteers are always welcome on Monday and Thursday mornings.

Wheeler Park's pollinator habitat is currently a hub of activity. Thanks are due to Bob and Pat for their contributions of elderberry and blueberry plantings. We also appreciate the hard work of interns Gil and Fred, who handled mulching duties under intense heat. Our pollinators are benefiting greatly from the pesticide and herbicide-free zone.

Today's harvest was exceptional, with a notable visit from Rockdale County Judge Washington, who was thoroughly impressed by our tomato crops.
