And this is what my work bench looks like after I finish a knife. Not to mention the shop. The small belt grinders are only for making handles. I have a couple of big ones I do the metal on in the shop.

4 times I have tried and 4 times I have failed to get feather Damascus. The next to last weld step is a 12 piece stack up that has to be forge welded. Then you split it through all those pieces with a hot cut and the biggest hammer you can control with one hand. Then you weld that split back together. Every thing was looking good until I started the weld process of the split. As soon as I went to the power hammer # 11 weld came undone. It went sideways from there. I did manage to salvage the billet and it made a pretty nice knife, just not what I was looking for. I’ll get a sheath made for it and it will be for sale.

I've decided to sell this computer bag. Its a little too small for my use. This leather bag is completely hand made and tooled. It is not perfect, its hand made. It is 14´wide x 10” tall x 3” thick. If you use a smaller laptop such as a Microsoft Surface this may be your bag. 2 dividers inside and 2 pockets on the outside. I have about 200 bucks in material and that's what I'd like to get for it.

Last Thursday Sonny and I went to Robert Louisiana. We got up Friday morning and met a bunch fine folks at Chappapeela Crafts and started building power hammers. We worked Friday up into the night, Saturday up into the night and Sunday we finished up about noon. We built 22 hammers. We got mine loaded about 1:45 Sunday and hit the road home. I got to bed about 10:30 and was up at 6:00 to unload the hammer. I'll post some vids of it running when I get it all set up. This will be a game changer for my little shop.
