Polemonium boreale 'Heavenly Habit' Jacob's Ladder
Here is a stunning addition to your shade garden. ‘Heavenly Habit’ is a low, bushy mound of ferny green leaves with shoots that boast loads of violet-blue starry flowers with a white eye. It’s sure to draw your attention as it blooms in the summer, and the foliage is attractive even when it’s not in bloom. This cultivar does well with moist soils and partial shade. It will grow 6 to 12 inches tall and 18 inches wide. It’s hardy to zone 3, prefers full to partial shade, and is very low-maintenance.

L'Eclatante is cherished for its vivid color and delightful fragrance. The name translates to "The Brilliant One," a fitting description for its glowing blooms. These semi-double, glowing fuchsia-pink or pinkish-red blooms open to reveal a striking "eye" of showy yellow stamens in the center. The blooms are large, typically 3 to 5 inches across. We love Nepeta, otherwise known as Catmint. It’s drought resistant, heat tolerant, and a beautiful bloomer from late spring through fall. You’ll find Catmint in a variety of sizes to suit your landscape. Most of them bloom blue to purple, but you can find a few in white as well. They’re often given names related to cats and this one is no exception. ‘Purrsian Blue’ features an improved tidy habit and is a bit smaller and more compact than the popular 'Cat's Meow'. It forms a small, perfectly rounded, densely branched clump of tiny, green leaves and it holds its form neatly all year long. You’ll find that it doubles in size in its second year. Periwinkle blue flowers with dark purple calyxes are spaced closely together on the stems, giving you a stunning pop of color in your yard for months on end! This waterwise, low-maintenance perennial will reach 12 to 18 inches tall and 30 inches wide, prefers full sun to partial shade, is deer resistant, fragrant, and a pollinator magnet. Privets are a great way to create privacy for your yard. They grow thick, wide and tall. But what if you want one just a little smaller? Lodense is a dwarf, compact, deciduous shrub with rich green foliage. And if you don’t prune it, it will produce small panicles of lightly scented white flowers. Typically, this shrub is planted as a hedge because it responds well to shearing, making it an excellent choice for a low, formal border or privacy hedge. Left unpruned, it will grow 5 feet tall and wide. It’s hardy to zone 4, will thrive in full sun to part shade, and tolerates water from Utah Lake. Lavandula angustifolia 'Twickel Purple' English Lavender
This is a fantastic lavender! Twickel Purple boasts green-grey foliage and 8-inch-tall flower stems with bright violet-blue petals and dark violet, pubescent calyces. The flowers are neatly spaced along slender spikes. While it's excellent for tall hedges, it might exhibit some sprawling growth that could require some pruning to maintain its spherical form.
