I’m so proud of how well the iris are doing after being moved here last summer. We literally dug, cleaned and labeled almost every iris that is in our iris field to move here. It was so intense, but more than worth it. Also, for anyone that’s wondering, we have an entire row that are mysteries because there’s no world where we knew what everything was. Once they bloom, they get to find their official homes 🥰💜

Slowly but surely we are figuring out country living and flower farming. The iris are doing better than we anticipated here and the rain has helped all the seeds we have been sowing tremendously! We will have our iris garden walk next Saturday, but that is just the beginning!! In a few weeks I plan to be selling cutflower bouquets! 💐 Later near the end of summer I also hope to have enough blooms to have YOU-Pick sections of the garden periodically available for people that want to get a taste of the flower farming experience! 🥰
