Serving the Lake Norman Area Tony Pescho, founder and owner of Sterling Construction, has been remodeling homes for over 25 years.

He has worked in all aspects of residential homes from managing a custom home division for a local builder to being a real estate broker for a national builder, and now specializing in kitchen remodeling. Tony is the lead designer in the company. He also oversees all construction. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Toledo. Tony lives in Cornelius, NC with his wife Cara and two sons, Evan and Mason.

We took a narrow space and transformed this kitchen into a large, functional space the family could gather in. Designed by Sterling Construction's owner, Tony Pescho, he listened to the needs of the client previously ignored by another kitchen designer. We managed to save the client money by using our semi-custom cabinet line that we represent.

Here's a major transformation for a great client in Cornelius, NC. After receiving an outrageous bid from another contractor, this customer almost abandoned the idea of remodeling their kitchen. We came in, gave them a fair price, designed it, supplied the cabinets and installed. We even discovered a large 3" drain BEFORE CONSTRUCTION that the previous contractor never saw. This changed the cabinet layout. We relocated it and hid it behind the cabinet near the fridge.

Wow! This kitchen is so inviting, it was hard for us to leave. Really a great space that functions and looks perfect. We shortened the windows and relocated the sink under the windows. We also removed the small pantry to create a coffee area. Quartz countertops and marble diamond backsplash add a touch of sophisticated to the casual kitchen.

Our biggest remodel yet! We removed a wall & some windows to create this beautiful space at Lake Norman.
We also tried something new- using chemicals to bleach out the redness in the Brazilian Cherry floors.
