Have you been following along and not sure what all the fuss is about Ranunculus? Well lemme tell ya, these little colorful bonbons of joy unfurl into a million layers of amazingness! Similar in form to a rose with a long thornless stem. The single varieties resemble poppies. But the real secret is the vase life, they last forever if cut and cared for properly. I’m talking 1 1/2-2weeks of beauty that puts on a show as they open. So if you’re someone that doesn’t buy fresh flowers because they don’t last long enough, then these flowers might be just what you needed in your life. The only catch is they won’t be around for long so you gotta get um while the gettin’s good. Once it gets hot they will stop producing flowers and they won’t be available until next Spring! With this being my best Ranunculus year of all time, I want to offer “pre-ordering” sales starting now! I need to make more room in my cooler for more of these guys, so please DM me asap to request a bunch for pickup prior to the farmers market Monday-Wednesday 🫶Treat yourself 🌸

I’ll be missing you all today at the first Corning's Gaffer District Farmers Market but…I’ll be there next week with Peonies and Ranunculus bouquets so hold tight!! Wrapping um up with a new and improved stamped logo, not every stamp is perfect but what is when it’s hand printed 😆 I love my little stickers but I’m excited for a more eco-friendly option 💚

Peony and Ranunculus harvesting have begun! I’m pulling in handfuls of beautiful Ranuncs from the sea of stems every morning and it feels like a (hard earned) gift 😅 The weather has been great for them so far, cool nights! Soon we’ll be rounding the corner of our last week of the Spring Subscription, and then I’ll be back at the Corning Farmers Mkt (the second market not this week!)🌞💚💐Can’t wait to see everyone!

I know I’ve been a bit quiet on the social front here…things are growing quite well and the flowers are starting to bloom.
For my flower friends who are not on my personal page, I have sad news to share. This week we had to give a loving goodbye to our flower child Kuda 🤎🐕🤍At the age of (over) 16 1/2, and a hard few months of health challenges, she deserved peace, rest and release. Kuda brought so much love and light into the world and filled my heart with joy. She will forever be the soul of this garden she left behind for me to care for. Nature has no remorse and will keep me busy and help me heal. Life is moving forward one step at a time…
I will not be at the first week’s Corning Farmers Market, I plan to attend the Glass Art Society conference happening in Corning, to get me out of the house and hopefully find some creative inspiration. I look forward to seeing you (and your pups 🥲) at the second market on June 12th, where I should have Peonies & Ranunculus 💐💗🌸💚🌺🙏🐶

Another season of locally grown Tulips has come to a close 💜💓💛 and these bright beautiful bouquets are off to burst into life in their new homes 🌷

I’m adoring all the little moments that occur between the different flowers, how they overlap and wake up at different rates. Tulips take you on a little journey as they mature, making each day special. The Alliums really kicked them up a notch and remind me of fireworks bursting above 🎆 Perfect timing for celebrating this Memorial Day weekend 🇺🇸

Next up…my beloved Ranunculus are on the rise ❣️

Wow it’s a real scorcher out there! Hoping this heat pushes this last tulip variety of the season into “pull” stage! She’s a real beaut’ but works on her own timeline 🙃 The first test pulls I did over the last few weeks became duds 😪 but this final one has opened to its full glory for me to enjoy! Looking forward to wrapping these babies up with some other lovely varieties as soon as I can🌷

A quick view of the “field of dreams” for you on this grey, gloomy and cold day🩶I’ve been on stem lookout for over a week🧐and just so happened that when I got to the end of this video I spotted the first bud 🤗 Yippee! We’re moving in much slower motion this Spring, but it looks like I swapped out the low for the tall hoops just in time for the action to start! Ranunculus season is coming soon ❣️
