Today I got a call for a busted belt on an old Liftmaster. I replaced it with new 1hp Liftmaster 6580L belt drive opener. The door is a custom wooden sectional door which is a particularly heavy application but the new motor handled it without a problem. Now the homeowners have a stronger motor that can handle their heavy door with ease. It's also quieter and it has nice bright built-in LED lights to light the way. It also has a battery backup system that lets the motor work even when the power goes out and the MyQ smart opener system will allow them to open or close the door from anywhere.

Today I replaced this old Liftmaster 1/2hp belt drive with a new Liftmaster 2420L 3/4hp chain drive opener and did a tune up on the door. The belt on the old opener broke and it was approximately 16 years old. The new units are super quiet and strong and they are smart openers that you can use with your phone and a camera that you can view through your app to make sure the door opening is clear before shutting the door while you're away. They also have a battery backup system that activates as soon as power is lost, even while its moving, giving you access even when the power is out. The remote range has improved drastically since they switch to a Bluetooth signal to bypass all of the interference in the radio waves these days (even LED light bulbs have caused interference for garage door openers lately). This is an amazing product that every home deserves. There is a whole line up of these motors and the 2420L is the tip of the iceberg. I installed this beautiful Bridgeport Series, Extended Panel, in black without windows today in Corona CA. This is a Polyurethane Insulated Steelback door. The Best! I always have to wait a couple of weeks for these doors to come in so I've been looking forward to this installation. Plus, I got to get rid of one of those old wood flip doors. I put a Liftmaster Pro 6690L Belt Drive Opener on to open and close the door and it is super quiet. It was a great day!

Clopay 4308, 2" polystyrene insulated steelback door with narrow windows down the sides with tinted / insulated glass. This was a beautiful transformation and just a part of what the homeowners plan to do with the home. The doors are heavily insulated and heavy duty. I installed a liftmaster 98022 to open and close the big door and the doors run smoothly and quietly. Another beautiful upgrade that we are proud to say we helped with.

Clopay T40L, white, long panel doors. I removed 4 ancient one piece wood flip ups from this 120 year old building that used to be a horse stable and installed these beautiful new doors for the tenants at this property. It was a huge improvement in many ways. It looks much better! It leaves more room inside of the garage for storage or parking! They no longer have to worry about how close they park to the garage before they open it! And.. these doors are much safer than the doors that I removed. It was a super cool job. I got to replace 4 out of 5 doors. Someone got to one in the alley before me.

If you look at the picture of the 2 doors. Which one do you think looks nicer? The one on the left is me and the one on the right is what most of the other guys in my area are using. I like my Clopay doors. Curious what others think??

Clopay T40L, White, long panel with windows. We had a nice transformation in Lake Elsinore CA today. Got rid of this old wood flip up and installed a beautiful new sectional roll up. The door runs very quiet with a Chaimberlain B3010 Belt drive opener. The customers loved their new door and the house looked like new.

Clopay Bridgeport Series, Narrow Stamp, with Insulated Obscure Glass. This was an amazing transition from old style raised panel doors to a more modern and elegant style. The Bridgeport doors have intellicore insulation or a Polyurethane foam core that makes the doors ultra durable and very well insulated. They are quiet and smooth operating with Liftmaster 98022 wall mount openers on both doors. We gave this beautiful home the garage doors it deserves and the homeowners were very happy with their new garage doors.

15'×7' Clopay 9200, 2" Polyurethane Insulated Steelback. This was yesterday's project in West Covina CA. It was a retrofit which means there was an old wood flip up door. The jambs were rotted out at the bottom and the door width was 15'3" wide. I replaced the jambs and added a 2×4 to each side to shrink the opening a little bit to accommodate a normal door width. I installed a liftmaster pro 98022 side mount opener to open and close the door and everything looks and works great.

Clopay 4300, 2" polystyrene insulated steelback door, short panel, white. We installed this beautiful new garage door on a beautiful home in Irvine CA today. I got rid of that old wood flip up and gave this house a good new look. The driveway is lifting in the center because of a huge tree close by, so the old door wouldn't close all the way. I fit the new door with an expanded bottom seal to cover the variance. No more leaf blower debris or critters for this garage. Everything looked and worked great and I had another happy customer.

We installed this Clopay GD2SP with long arched windows and woodgeain finish in Corona CA yesterday. I had been out to repair the old door once and the old motor once. The old door was not insulated and the door and opener were pretty loud. The new door is a 2" polystyrene insulated steelback door and I installed a 3/4hp liftmaster belt drive opener to open and close it. The door and opener combo are very quiet and they are built to last through many years of use. The insulation will help keep excessive heat from being trapped in the garage and the customer will notice an immediate difference in the temperature in the garage, whether it's hot or cold.
