Rub-a-dub-dub - A sunset view from the hot tub! This homeowner desired a new upper deck and wanted their hot tub to be built into it. Richard and the Geocrete team - Clayton, Jose, and Isaac - demoed the upper deck and replaced it with new 2x6 .60 decking, along with a new handrail system. This deck was built around their hot tub, creating a great place to soak while enjoying the ocean view. To complete this awesome set-up, stairs were built from the upper deck to the new swim dock and finger docks to enter the boat slip. Let Geocrete help create your oasis!

Ramp Needed. This homeowner's dock was in need of repair, along with new access from the house to the side gate. Richard designed a plan, and his team of Clayton, Jose, and Isaac were ready to create it! The Geocrete team started by demolishing the old dock, beams, and joists. Snap Jackets were installed on the existing pilings and back filled with 3000 PSI concrete. A new dock was installed on the reinforced pilings - complete with a new fish cleaning table and a bench to enjoy the view. A wheelchair ramp from the house to the side gate was created to allow for easier access to the back of the house and deck.

No place to sit! This homeowner had a beautiful house, but a very steep, angled back yard and no place to sit by the water. Geocrete created a retaining wall with connected sun deck, steps, and boat slip. The top of the steps feature a nice flatwork area - perfect for coffee in the morning! The graduated steps provide this homeowner with easy access to enjoy the evening breeze by the water, along with safe access to the new boat slip. Ouch! Too Many Stickers!! These homeowners had a terrible time trying to get to their waterfront. They had to traverse their way on a very narrow walkway that only went half way down, and once the walkway stopped – watch out for the stickers! If you were triumphant getting through all of this, there was only a bulkhead to stand on once you reached the water! The team at Geocrete Waterfront Construction designed and built a spectacular winding boardwalk that flowed down to an amazing deck area by the water. A stainless-steel cable handrail system created a clean, unobstructed look while providing safety for their precious puppies and extra security while strolling to the water.

Minimal repairs – Wow! Results!

The Geocrete team began by removing the beams, joists, and decking from the old dock and replaced them with new .60 treated wood, using 316 stainless steel hardware. A cover was installed over the boat lift motor, and the dock ladder was reattached to the new dock. The dock room received a facelift with a new door, Plexi glass, ¼” plywood to the walls, with lighting and plugs relocated.

Two sets of staircases were rebuilt, and repairs were made to the lower stairs, handrail, and retaining wall. Great job, Geocrete Team!
