I have asked myself what I can do as a small business. When HEB has an entire crew that goes to help and the Dallas Cowboys donate half a million dollars. What can little old me do?

But I can do this.

Because I can't shake this tragedy. I can't pull it from my heart. And I think if we all help just a lil' bit, then big things can happen. 💚

Heavy on my mind thoughts for today……..

Did you know that to build a business online, in person, brick and mortar or whatever your business consists of the number one thing people respond to is your authenticity and truth! If they don’t trust you they won’t buy from you or support your business. Transparency is key. Truth is a necessity.

I’ve been told many times I “tell too much” or I don’t need to tell “all your business” but I also know my Lord doesn’t like lying in any form or fashion so I run my business accordingly.

Sometime I feel as though my business is built on my story, my hard times, my creativity and honestly my life as a widow and mom that now has to make a living on her own after not working for 30 years to raise my kids.
When you are left having to be the bread winner you figure out real quick what you are good at and what can make you money. Mine is my voice, my thoughts, my creativity and my love of making my home beautiful. That is all I have to offer! 🤍🩷

So just an example of what I am talking about is i will never mislead you on what we have to offer like the success of our market is an example. You will never hear me or read that I’ve exaggerated the number of vendors to get you out here because that is dishonest and you may show up disappointed. We’ve struggled the last year or so to keep the momentum of our market up and vendor count has been low so we have gone back to the beginning and are rebuilding because I got prideful and stopped working for it. We are scouting, we are gifting spots to new businesses starting up, we are curating to bring you the best experience, we are collaborating with other like minded women but most of all we are working hard here at Sarita Farms to rebuild, rebrand and GROW!

We aren’t waiting for a hand out, or bashing others to try to climb ahead, we arent blaming our government, we aren’t acting on jealousy or envy! What we ARE DOING IS……we are asking questions, learning and growing from others that are already succeeding in what we do! We are surrounding ourselves with those that have already done the work so we can do that one day for another widow or single mom that finds herself wondering “how am I gonna do this?”

We are doing all of this for YOU……🤍🩷
