We just set 80 posts in 1.5 hours this morning.

We use a montana post driver mounted to a Kubota Kx040. Yes you heard that they are just hammered in!

These are set 48 inches deep on the corners and gates and 36 on the lines.

If you were setting 80 posts with an auger... You would be here for a couple days.

Faulty hinges! All it Takes is A hammer or if you have a crescent wrench you can loosen the bolt and gain access to the property

Left for Farmington about 230 today after getting 99.9% done in Mancos and picked up pipe for my next job up on Haycamp. Start layout and set posts tommorow.

We do use wood posts from time to time. In this subdivision the HOA doesnt allow metal fences. Wood it is. These are pressure treated 6x6.

The Miller Fusion 185 welder is off for warranty repairs. 30-60 day turnaround time. So here's my new Hobart Champion 225 welder to keep my jobs a runnin at a cost $5429. Yikes.

When we do agricultural fences there is only one way to do it right....overbuild it! This corner H includes a gate brace and with 6 posts in the ground set at 40 inches deep, thats 20 feet of pipe underground and welded together at that! Stretch that wire tight!

Tech spec Tuesday.

We use a product from Spring Creek Products; its a "pipe panel pal". It slides over the post or rail and hugs the adjacent post or rail so you dont have to cut saddles. And Casey built some custom C clamps to hold it all up until it gets welded in place. These products save a lot of time because at times this pipe can be very hard to cut and it eats through the band saw blades very fast.
