How to set the correct time on a DSC alarm system. If your keypad looks like one of these photos then follow these simple steps to set your time and date.

1) press *6
2) enter your master code
3) press 1
4) enter time and date in the following 2
Digit format
Hour,minute,month,day,year
( Ex: 12:00 October 28, 2021 would look
Like this: 1200102821)
*make sure that you enter your time in.
Military format.
5) press # # to finish

Just a heads up to our customers. Please be aware when switching your phone service to the local cable company (not mentioning any names) to make sure that the cable technician places your alarm system on the phone line and that you test your system before they finish. We have had MANY instances over the past two months where the cable company has failed to put the alarm system on the line and this has resulted in systems not communicating properly and fees to our customers to re-attach the system.
