Happy Earth Day! 🌎🌳

One common mistake we see is plastic edging buried around trees interfering with roots and mulch piled up against the trunk.

If you like a clean look around your trees, avoid buried plastic edging that can interfere with roots and maintenance.

A better option is decorative blocks or stone set above grade to keep things tidy, along with a light mulch layer kept away from the trunk.

Most importantly, keep the tree trunk exposed and avoid piling mulch against the bark.

Healthy trees = healthier yards, more shade, and longer tree life.
