We grow high quality tomato, pepper, vegetable, herb, fruit, and flower plants. Our 40 acre farm has been certified organic since 1998 and is located in Cottage Grove, WI, just a few miles east of Madison. In the spring, we grow about 220+ different varieties of plants for your garden. Our Organic Garden Center offers gardeners many products to sustain their organic growing. Along with the large v

ariety of plants, we also offer our formulated organic potting mix, compost, and various organic products to assist the organic grower.

Just a reminder our POP-UP SALE is this THURS (12-6), FRI (12-6), & SAT (10-4)! 50% off Natives/Perennials, 25% off Fruit/Berry, 50% off Compost Bags, $6 - 8” mums (8 colors) + more. We will also have our Grow Mix Bags or bulk BYO bucket available for purchase.

Some of the Native varieties available: NE Aster, Smooth Aster, Stiff & Showy Goldenrod, Anise Hyssop, Big & Little Bluestem Grass, Bottlebrush Grass, Cardinal Flower, Compass & Cup Plants, Hoary Vervain, Hoary Skullcap, Foxglove Beardstongue, Lance-Leaf Coreopsis, False Indigo, Nodding Onion, Purple Coneflower, Rudbeckia Hirta, Prairie Dropseed, Purple Prairie Clover, Rattlesnake Master, Slender Mountain Mint, Wild Columbine, Lupine, Yarrow. These are just some that are available. There are also some non-native perennial varieties.

We tried changing our Google Hours, but they are saying it’ll take a week to review. Come out, we’ll be here! It’s a great time to plant perennials!

West Star’s POP-UP NATIVE, MUM & PLANT SALE will start one week from today! 3 days only. Thursday Sept 10th from 12pm-6pm, Friday Sept 11th from 12pm-6pm, & Saturday Sept 12th from 10am-4pm.

It’s our first year growing mums and they look awesome. We are doing a 1st year special - $6 each 8” mum (8 colors to choose from). All Natives & Perennials are 50% off (only $3.75 for a 4.5” pot). We will also have a very limited number of berry plants at 25% off. A few other Misc plants (annuals/houseplants) are 50% off. Bagged Mushroom or Bovine Compost is 50% off.

It’s a beautiful day to get your garden finished! We still have a great selection of plants to choose from.

Over 60 tomato varieties still left, over 30 pepper, 30 herbs, even some random squashes, cucumbers, and eggplants. There is also a bright selection of annual flowers for your planters. Plus natives, perennials, & berry plants, including new 6ft blueberry bushes…they are a labor of love, but so beautiful!
