My California Garden, just a journal of my amature vegetable garden. My attempt at gardening with less water. I am growing vegetables, herbs and flowers with drip irrig I am growing tomatoes outdoors.

The hydroponic system is home made. Netpots are filled with clay pebbles. Netpots are in 5 gallon buckets each with a 1/4 drip hose fed often by a fountain pump. The liquid nutrient drizzles over the tomato roots and then back to the reservoir. It is my hope to use less water than growing in soil. I've used only rainwater to this point and hope I've stored enough to finish this crop.
