This customer purchased this house thinking they could slide a stove in a faux fireplace. Basically they had fire brick covering wood framing. To much heat and not enough proper clearances to make that happen. The solution is what you see. Get a rear vent stove into a vertical tee then tie in to the properly installed Class A chimney system. So the stove is setting on the hearth in front of the faux fireplace.
