From two greenhouses full of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs to 2D landscape design and then installation, we are here for you. Natural Escapes has serving Cozad and our neighboring towns since January of 2007. We absolutely love providing our fabulous customers with landscaping and greenhouse services. Jacqui here with a final post on this page. It seems fitting to end on a positive note and announce that Natural Escapes won the Best of 2025 in the Greenhouse/Nursery category. I know Jeremy, Bailey, Hudson and Asher are beaming down with pride!

We can't thank you all enough for the support the last 5 months and your love for Natural Escapes the last 18 years. This page will stay active as long as Facebook allows it to be up. We love you all!

Hello everyone! Jacqui here to announce the details for the auction that will go live this evening.

Natural Escapes and Koch Estate online auction with Rhynalds Auction and Realty

Online auction only beginning August 22nd- September 28th. Pick up will be on the Natural Escapes property on Monday, September 29th so please plan in advance.

Lot #1 is the property sold as is and the rest of the lots are vehicles, jetskis, inventory, tools, and other items for sale. Please click on the link provided for more details.

A lot of hard work, sweat, and tears went into preparing this sale. Huge thanks to both families, friends, volunteers, employees, and the Rhynalds auction team for their tireless dedication this last month! This is a bittersweet but necessary end to Natural Escapes as we knew it. We hope the new buyers will love it just as much as we have! Natural Escapes followers,

It’s Jacqui again writing to you all with a few updates. We had a great last week of business and we’re so thankful for your support right up until the very last day. With that being said, business is closed and no trespassing signs have been posted. We have cameras on the property that are being monitored.

Our next steps for the business are to have an auction. This will occur sometime in August with the official date to be determined. The remaining inventory will be auctioned off as well as the property as is. The auction will be posted online and anyone will be able to bid on items. There has been a lot of chatter both good and bad as far as what people think should be done with the property. We are here to say kindly but firmly that it was a hard decision, but one we made as a family in the best interest of the Koch family estate. We know the community is grieving right alongside us during this transition, but we are hopeful that the right buyer will come along and do what they feel is best for the property.

Natural Escapes family,

This is Jacqui, Jeremy's youngest sister, writing to you today with an announcement. The Koch and Kugler families were so blessed to be able to keep the doors open through the busy season with the help of employees, volunteers, and community support. However, all good things must come to an end and it's a heartbreaking time for all involved. With that being said, our last day open for business will be Saturday, July 12th. The store is open today, closed the 4th-6th, and will be open the 7th-12th for the final week. Store hours are 9-6 Monday - Friday and 9-3 Saturday. Come shop our closeout sale!

Annuals and vegetables will be 50% off. Trees, shrubs, soil, mulch, pots, and all other inventory will be 25% off.

The Koch and Kugler families are so grateful for your support the last two months, and for your love of Jeremy, Bailey, Hudson, and Asher. They loved this business and every customer who walked through their door. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! 🩷

Good news!!!

We were able to secure enough help to be OPEN for regular hours at our Maple Street greenhouses! We will continue to work to stock the Sonny's Super Foods - Cozad, NE greenhouse this week as Jeremy undergoes three more medical treatments.

Natural Escapes, at 708 Maple Street in Cozad, is open 9-6 Monday through Friday and Saturday 9-3! We hope you'll come shop the highest quality plants in the friendliest place. We sure do appreciate you.

Hi everyone!

Hours are a bit more limited at the moment than we would like due to employee absences and Jeremy's current health battle. We are planning on a Graduation/Mother's Day weekend open house on the 9th and 10th when we will be able to consistently be open. So sorry for spotty hours right now!

It's still a bit early to put those flowers out, so do be careful if you are putting them outside already. You'll be safe after Mother's Day and we hope we see you soon! Thanks for your understanding!
