It’s windy and really, really dry keep an eye on the lines. Broken insulators, trees anything shorting out right now is bad news.

Looking for a motivated, high energy, career oriented person who enjoys working outdoors. Must be drug free, have current drivers license and clean driving record. Preference will be given to those with a CDL or the willingness to obtain one. Must have reliable transportation and be on time. Duties consist of moving brush, operating a chipper, operating loaders, stump grinders, and various other equipment. Some travel and weekend work required lunch provided daily and lodging paid during travel. Advancement and commission opportunities for the right person. Paid time off, bonuses and other benefits available after 6 months.

We are on stand by with our 6 wheel drive truck and support equipment for anyone who may experience a tree emergency due to the weather and wind.

We are reaching the end of a large project for Twin Valleys Public Power. It’s always fun to partner with local utilities and get out to areas we’ve never seen before. A big thank you to Wade Viter and his business Viter Tree solutions for the extra man power and awesome cooking back in camp. Also a big thank you to my team Shelby Schmeeckle and Richards for putting in a lot of extra hours and time away from family to make this happen. Another thank you to Laborie Land Works LLC for letting us park equipment on your lot and helping us with local referrals for some additional tree work. We met some great people, a lot of friendly dogs, saw a lot of new territory and took a few pictures along the way.

We’ve been out helping those affected by the recent storms. Our list of regular jobs is long but contact us right away if you have trees that you feel are unsafe or threaten your home or buildings.

We’ve been busy in the Sandhills this spring. We look forward to this trip every year great people, great food, great scenery. And despite the stereotypes that Nebraska is flat and all cornfields there are some big trees to work on there too.
