Masterworks Mechanical

Even Peter, our shop cat, looks a little shocked at how quickly the cold weather is rolling into Northwest Colorado!

And while Peter may be more concerned about finding a warm place to nap this winter, he does have an important reminder for all our friends and neighbors!

With colder weather settling in, now is the time to make sure one of the most important pieces of equipment in your home, your heating system, is running safely and at its best.

Keeping your family warm is important, but keeping them safe is even more important. One thing we can't stress enough is having a low-level carbon monoxide (CO) monitor in your home. Carbon monoxide is odorless and invisible, and even low levels of exposure can be harmful over time. A low-level CO monitor can alert you to levels that a standard CO alarm may not detect as early.

Peter is showing off one of the low-level CO monitors we stock and sell right here at Masterworks! If you don't have one in your home, stop by and visit us. Peter might even be around to supervise your purchase!

We've been keeping homes and businesses warm in Craig and the surrounding communities since 1988. This is our hometown too. The families we serve are our friends, neighbors, and the people we see around town every day. We want everyone heading into another Colorado winter with a warm home and peace of mind.

If your heating system hasn't been serviced, give us a call. We'd be happy to help make sure it's ready for the cold months ahead.

Stay warm, stay safe, and take Peter's advice this winter!

We're not comfortable until you are.

Masterworks Mechanical – Proudly serving our community since 1988.

This one is a little different from our normal Masterworks posts, but it’s one we definitely wanted to share.
Vic recently got the chance to go on a once-in-a-lifetime elk hunt, and as you can probably tell from all the pictures, there were a whole lot of people who helped make this hunt what it was.
First, we have to give a huge thank you to our Masterworks crew. When you own a business, getting away isn’t always easy. Vic was able to head out, enjoy the hunt, and not worry about what was happening back at the shop because we have a crew that stepped up and kept everything moving. Phones still had to be answered, calls still had to be run, jobs still had to get done, and our customers still needed to be taken care of. Our crew handled it, and we couldn’t appreciate them more for that.
And then there’s the crew that was part of the hunt itself. Friends, family, and some pretty darn good people who gave their time, helped wherever they were needed, shared plenty of laughs, and made the whole experience even better. Around here, we all know a successful hunt usually has a lot more people behind it than the person holding the tag.
That’s one of the things we love about living in Craig and Northwest Colorado. People show up for each other. Whether it’s covering for you at work, helping pack an elk, lending a hand, or just being there to share the experience, good people make all the difference.
Vic came home with a lot of pictures, a lot of stories, and memories he’ll have for the rest of his life.
To everyone at Masterworks who held down the fort and everyone who was part of this hunt — thank you. You helped make a once-in-a-lifetime experience even more special.

This Friday, August 7th, our office will be closed for a few hours as some of our team takes time to cheer on their kids at the Moffat County Fair.

The fair is about more than ribbons—it's about months of early mornings, late nights, responsibility, and hard work. We're proud of our employees and even prouder of the young people who have dedicated so much time to their livestock projects and other exhibits this year.

If you have the chance, we encourage everyone to come out and support these kids. A packed show ring, friendly faces, and community encouragement mean more than you know.

Thank you for your understanding while we take a little time to support the next generation. We'll be back in the office later that day and look forward to serving you.

Good luck to all of the exhibitors—we're rooting for every one of you!

A great day on the course for a great cause!

Masterworks Mechanical was happy to be one of the sponsors for this year’s Young Life Golf Tournament, and a few of our crew were even lucky enough to trade their work boots for golf shoes and enjoy the tournament!

We’re grateful to be able to support organizations like Young Life that invest in the kids and families in our community. Our guys had a great time golfing, spending the day together, and supporting a cause that does so much locally.

Thank you to Young Life for putting on such a fun event and for everything you do for our community. We were proud to be a small part of it! ❤️⛳

There are some jobs that mean a little more than others.

We recently had the privilege of installing two new boilers at the Boys & Girls Club, but what we'll remember most wasn't the equipment—it was the kids.

Every day we were met with curious questions, eager minds, and kids who genuinely wanted to learn how everything worked. We loved taking a few extra minutes to explain the new system, talk about the skilled trades, and show them what goes into keeping a building comfortable and safe.

Craig should be proud. The young people in our community are bright, respectful, and full of curiosity. Spending time with them reminded us that the future is in good hands.

Thank you to the Boys & Girls Club for welcoming us into your space. It was an honor to serve your facility, and an even greater privilege to spend time with the incredible kids who walk through your doors every day.

At Masterworks, we're not just proud to work in this community—we're proud to help invest in its future.

The future is bright.

Some of our favorite moments happen when the next generation gets a front-row seat to what we do. Whether it's sitting on Dad's lap while looking over bids or simply learning the value of hard work, these are the moments that matter.

At Masterworks Mechanical, we're proud to build more than heating and plumbing systems—we're helping build the future of our community, one generation at a time.

Here's to hard work, family, and the hometown we're proud to call home.

What we love most about Moffat County is the sense of community. This is more than just the place we do business, it’s home. It’s the people who wave when they pass, support local businesses, show up for each other, and make this community such a special place to live and work.

We love the outdoors, the wide-open spaces, and the incredible beauty that surrounds us every day, from the mountains and rivers to the sunsets that never seem to get old. There’s something special about being able to work hard and then step outside and enjoy everything this area has to offer.

But above all, it’s the people who make Moffat County what it is. We’ve been proud to serve this community since 1988, and we’re grateful every day to be part of a place that feels like family.
