The freeze and your pool equipment:
As long as your power stays on and your freeze guard is working you should be fine.
If you do not have a freeze guard, put your timers on to run 24/7 until we are above freezing Sunday.
IF POWER GOES OUT for an extended period of time.
1. TURN OFF the breaker for the pool.
2. PULL THE DRAIN PLUGS off your equipment. There is 1 drain plug on you heater, filter, and booster pump. Then 2 on the larger main pumps. This will let the water drain from inside your equipment so it doesn’t freeze, expand, and crack.

Looks like winter is showing up next weekend!! Make sure your pumps are running at all times during freezing temperatures to protect your equipment from expensive repairs.
