Built to Last LLC is looking for 1-2 Construction Laborers to join our team. Our company focuses on residential and commercial remodeling and construction. This is a full-time hourly position (approximately 40 hours per week). A typical work week is Monday – Friday 8:30AM to 5:30PM, some weekends (rarely) as needed depending on job requirements and timelines.
Title - Construction Laborer
Responsibilities
• Perform manual labor, assisting skilled craft workers in performing assigned duties
• Unload and carry materials at construction sites; lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 50 pounds of material independently and up to 90 pounds of material with assistance, if requested
• Clean up job site from debris and discarded material
• Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
• Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding and other temporary structures
• Work in a variety of weather conditions with exposure to the elements
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and move your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold and ladder
• Good hand-eye coordination, quick reaction times
• Daily use of math skills (measuring, adjusting, converting between inches, feet, yards, etc., is a common task)
• Must wear personal protective equipment as required (safety glasses, gloves, and safety-toed boots)
• Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures and be committed to a culture of safety and quality
• Requires dependable transportation
