Progress is coming along beautifully on this exterior transformation! 🎨

The body color has now been applied, giving this home a bold new look and completely refreshing its curb appeal. At this stage of the project, the walls are finished while the trim, columns, and front door are still in preparation for their final coats.

Painting in phases allows us to focus on clean lines, proper coverage, and a high-quality finish every step of the way. Once the trim and door colors are applied, the contrast will really bring the entire home together.

This step not only enhances the overall appearance of the home but also prepares the surface for the next phases of the project, including scraping, sanding, caulking, and priming. Proper cleaning is a critical foundation that helps ensure a smooth, durable, and professional paint finish.

Before we ever pick up a paintbrush, the real work begins with proper prep.

These before photos show the condition we started with built-up dirt, failing paint, and areas that need attention. The first step in our process is a thorough wash to remove mildew, grime, and anything that could prevent proper adhesion.

Next comes detailed scraping to remove all loose and peeling paint. This step is critical to ensure a solid, long-lasting finish. Skipping prep leads to premature failure, doing it right sets the foundation for everything that follows.
