Our team had the pleasure of presenting to the students at School of the Incarnation, offering a glimpse into their new cafeteria addition that we are designing for them in Gambrills, MD.

It was rewarding to see their excitement and curiosity about architecture. Their thoughtful questions—and heartfelt “𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮” cards—made the experience truly meaningful.

We are proud to help shape spaces where future generations will learn, grow, and thrive.

Client: St. Mary’s County Public Schools

Evergreen Elementary School was the first new public school in St. Mary’s County to achieve a LEED NC ‘Gold’ certification. The project was also honored with the ‘Award of Excellence’ as the ‘School Project of the Year’ by the Maryland Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Key sustainable features include green vegetated roofs, a rainwater harvesting system used for flushing toilets, and the integration of a wind turbine and solar PV panels as interactive teaching tools—creating a hands-on learning environment that showcases real-world sustainability in action.

Thoughtful planning, energy-efficient systems, and sustainable design strategies work together to create a refreshing atmosphere that supports both education and environmental responsibility. Our 𝐓𝐂𝐀 𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐒 team had the opportunity to tour 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐲 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥, where we explored a variety of innovative and engaging learning environments. The school features spacious interiors, super graphics on the walls, and thoughtfully selected modern materials—all contributing to an inspiring educational setting.

This visit provided valuable insights into how interior spaces can best support technical education. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality throughout our day-long tour and enjoyed an inspiring and informative experience.
