Hummingbirds have arrived to Western NC. Clean your feeders and stock them up for a few days. Never fill it unless you have multiple birds as the sugar water can grow fungus.

I always start my plants inside, well the planting is done in the greenhouse then transferred inside. New grow lights will help. The end of March everything will be transferred to the greenhouse.

Tomato Varieties this year: Box Car W***y, Cherokee Purple, Cherokee Carbon (yummy), Mortgage Lifter, Large Red Cherry, Hill Billy, Sioux and limited amounts of San Marzano, Yellow Jelly Bean and Goldie. Basil: Genovese large leaf italian. Tomatos $4 each or 3/$10, Basil $3 each or 2/$5. See you at GUTM tomorrow.
