4 years ago today, I built this MASSIVE barn door with the help of my father! This was the largest single interior door we've built and I believe it came out to be about 7'x7'. As with all of our barn doors, we have the sliding hardware custom made to exactly match the size of the door and home!

Quick deck repair for a customer in Helen!

Old beam rotted out, so we had to come up with a creative solution to buy the customer a few more years on their deck before doing a full replacement.

Job specs:
- joists are 2x8
- new beam is a 2ply 2x12 posted on 8'
- sisters span almost the entirety of the joust span so we've essentially just doubled up the joists and eliminated a beam.
-the short one you see on the bottom isn't short, it's just ran further in the other direction because of the geometry of the deck.

And it's right on the chattahoochee river 😎
