"Why do you spend so much time welding, and polishing rails when it's easier and faster to use glued or slip in fittings?"

We've all had something break or malfunction as soon as the warranty was up and glass and metal railings are not exempt from these unfortunate circumstances. Glass and stainless steel will easily hold up for decades but if it's not properly installed and measures aren't taken to prevent it, it can look like this sooner than you think.

When all the possible components are welded, it helps prevent you from ever having to see something like this in your own home and helps preserve the investment you've made into your home. Glass railing isn't cheap so it shouldn't look cheap.

Back when I first started in this industry one of the first things I learned, after learning to be a gopher of course, was how to refinish welded metal. It's always been one of the more enjoyable parts of the process to me and requires a pretty keen eye for detail to do right. Learning to polish back to a mirror finish was a real task but I think the results speak for themselves.
