We have been celebrating some big milestone birthdays around here. Tabatha (Our Princess) and Dave (The Grillfather) were right on each other's heels these past couple of weeks. It is always nice to take a break and enjoy special moments in life. We have much to be grateful for around here. Shout out to Mark Steel!

We have a new technician in training! Please give a shout out to our very own Reece Adams. He is already proving himself to be a quick learner and is looking forward to taking on the role of a full-time Service Tech in the field. We are happy to have him join our team.
Reece grew up in Forsyth County and is a recent graduate of North Forsyth High School. Go Raiders! Reece also loves to hunt and fish during his free time. Here is an example of one of his great catches weighing in at 8 lbs. and measuring 24 inches. Besides rooting for the NFHS Raiders, he is also a big supporter of the Atlanta Braves and has confessed to being a Tyler Childers fan. 🏈

Everyone, please give a big warm welcome to Scott Tanner! He is one of our newest team members in the Accounting department at Graves Overhead Doors, Inc. Scott is a devoted Alabama fan and is happiest at a football game cheering on his team with beloved wife of 31 years, Sandra.
Scott has been famously nicknamed the "Tanner Planner" because of his strong organizational, time-management, and event planning skills. He and his family recently checked off their bucket list of visiting all 50 state capitals in May of 2025. He and his son are now on a quest to find the best rollercoaster in the world. In the past 3 years, they have already ridden 181 coasters together. His favorite so far has been the VelociCoaster at Universal Islands in Orlando. They have their sights set on several located in Cedar Point, Ohio and another one in Saudi Arabia! Tune in for pictures of their upcoming awesome adventures.

You will be seeing some additional new faces at Graves Overhead Doors, Inc. Please meet one of our newest crew members: Our very own son, Sam Graves, has recently decided to join our garage door team. He hasn't been here long, but he is already making great improvements and implementing some needed changes.

Sam is a dedicated weightlifter in his spare time. He has recently achieved his lifetime goal of his best conventional deadlift of 600 lbs. He is a dog lover and has helped rescue about 11 dogs over the last few years. Four of them have become part of the family. Welcome, Sam, we are pleased and happy to have you here with us.

We are blessed to have lots of August Birthdays. We got to celebrate Dave Smith's last week. He is a chocolate and peanut butter lover and an aficionado of Harley Davidson Bikes. Happy Birthday DAVE!!!
