Happy Summer, Gardeners.

Wanted to show you one of our new additions into our nursery inventory.

Check out our "Maid of Orleans" Jasmine!! Also known as Sampaguita or Phillipine Jasmine

These Jasmine will show beautiful white blooms soon and offer a wonderful fragrance to your home. They reach between 1 and 2 feet tall and have a bush structure. Easy to care for indoor, they can be treated as a patio plant from spring to fall, but should avoid freezing weather.

You will see our Jasmine at our Farmers Market booths this summer and fall.

Come pick up one or several.

Fall blueberry planting should now be on your calendar, which means ground preparation should be the plan this summer.

Late September and October are excellent months for getting blueberry plants in the ground. Young plants will take advantage of the warm ground temperature to establish themselves before winter dormancy. And the start of fall rains will refresh and nourish them with continued top growth.

You can expect up to another 40 percent top growth of your plants during the fall season with warm soil, adequate irrigation, and light fertilizing.

Consider planting an inch deeper than usual during fall planting to protect the roots from Indian summer temps. And a bit of pine mulch around the root base helps immensely with the lower pH that the pine brings to your plants.

Watering with temps over 70 degrees will keep your plants healthy into fall and winter.

Our apple trees are now ready for 2024!!! Just taken out of bareroot beds, packaged and potted and ready for sale.

Our first offerings are for the Anna cultivar (a variety of Red Delicious), the supersweet red, and the Golden Dorsett, a sweet large Golden the size of a softball.

These beauties are two year olds and will give yields in two more years. Semi dwarf and can be kept easily between 10 and 20 feet tall with pruning.

These are both heavy apple producers, yielding around 20 lbs annually at maturity. Currently between 3 and 5 feet tall.

We have them paired together because they are the perfect paired pollinator. And who doesn't love reds and goldens!!!

These trees are perfectly suited for our PNW climate.

Priced at $80 for a pair (one Anna and one Golden Dorsett), these can be planted as close as 10 to 15 feet and as far apart as a hundred feet or more for perfect pollination.

This special pricing is for the pair. Individually, price is $45 each.

Contact me by reply to this post or by direct message to order. Pickup is at our Custer nursery or at any of our scheduled customer meetups around the northwest this spring.
