A quiet moment of peace before back to back meetings. We spent all day yesterday finishing up unpacking the last of the boxes. (Yes, yes, I know... we bought this house 8 months ago.) The cleaners came today and I'm sitting here reveling in the calm of a clutter free home. (Even if only temporary.) Here's a glimpse of our upstairs hallway. I just love how you can see the canvas prints of the kids from our game room. They bring me so much joy.

Progress pic! Can you see all the changes we've made?

-Relocated the refrigerator to expand the kitchen
-Added a coffee bar where the fridge was previously
-Removed microwave over stove relocated to island
-Added a custom vent hood over range
-Removed drop fluorescent lights over the island
-New tile throughout
-Took the upper cabinets to the ceiling
-Freshly painted cabinets
-Completely redid the island to accommodate the new microwave - painted it charcoal
-New lighting
-New quartz countertops
-New backsplash
-(not pictured) New beam to remove the posts and open up the kitchen space to the family room.

Door handles are all that is missing! @ Cypress, Texas
