In Bloom - Florida Azaleas (Rhododendron austrinum) produces fragrant yellow to pale orange flowers in late March to early April. It is native to northwest Florida, southwest Georgia, south Alabama, and southeast Mississippi. It can grow to about 15 feet tall.

The Piedmont Azalea (Rhododendron canescens) is common in Alabama and is the first to bloom in the spring from late March to early April. It has fragrant white to pink flowers and grows up to 15 feet tall. It is one of the widely distributed species found growing wild in the southeastern states often along creeks.

Welcome to All About Azaleas - retail grower of native azaleas and some evergreen azaleas. Native Azaleas available for sale are: Piedmont Azalea (pink to blush), Florida Azalea (yellow to light orange), and the summer bloomer Plumleaf Azalea (red to peachy orange). $15 for 1 gallon, $20 for 1.5 gallon, and $25 for 2.5 gallon.
