Buttermilk pie always held it down for my grandma because she didn’t have much. And that’s what I love about this pie, you don’t need much to make something good. Just a few simple ingredients and you’re good to go. Check out my grandma’s Buttermilk Pie For The Win!

Ingredients
1 cup buttermilk
1 frozen pie crust
1 stick butter, room temperature
2 cups sugar
3 eggs
3 tbsp flour
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Optional: pinch of nutmeg

Directions
Cream the butter and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing about 20 seconds after each. Mix in flour, vanilla, buttermilk, and nutmeg if using. Spray a pie dish with baking spray and add the pie crust. Pour in the filling and smooth the top. Bake at 350°F for 30-50 minutes. Cover with foil if the top gets too brown. The center can have a slight jiggle when done. Let cool for at least 1 hour so it can fully set. And that’s it, Buttermilk Pie For The Win!
