Designed to reduce curbside congestion at the terminal, improving the overall customer experience, the $323 million facility at 2.6 million-square-feet paves the way for future passenger growth.

This month in 2015 Austin-Bergstrom International Airport opened the Consolidated Rental Car Facility for eleven car rental agencies with more than 300 employees. Motivated by the City of Austin’s sustainability initiative, the facility was designed in accordance with USGBC Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) guidelines. With a multitude of environmental features, the facility was awarded a LEED Silver certification in 2016.
