Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi is now open, bringing Curio Collection by Hilton to Hawaiʻi for the first time.

Our team designed the interiors for the 210-room resort, which overlooks Nāwiliwili Bay and Kalapakī Beach. We drew the palette and materials from the island itself, with floor-to-ceiling windows that frame the Pacific and Hāʻupu Mountain, and artwork rooted in Kauaʻi’s cultural heritage.

Thank you to Hotel Management for the coverage, and to our partners at Hilton, Hart Howerton and AHL.

The wait is over. The Cade broke ground earlier this month and Roanoke is ready.

The City Council was on hand to celebrate a project they believe will have a real impact on downtown Roanoke, and our team is grateful to be a part of what this project will mean for the city. Stay tuned for more as The Cade unfolds.

Earlier this year, Mauna Kea Beach Hotel reopened on the Kohala Coast following a nearly $240 million renovation, and we are thrilled to see it already making best new resort lists.

The redesign honors 60 years of Hawaiian history while bringing the property firmly into the present. New pools, a redesigned golf course, a 22,000-square-foot spa, and nine bar and dining destinations, all set against one of the most preserved stretches of coastline in Hawaii.

Thank you to Thrillist for the coverage. We're proud to have been part of this re-design. Full feature linked below.

Some views deserve a toast and the view inside the queen suite at the Durango Casino & Resort is no exception.

Education meets excursion. Last month’s -sponsored trip paired CEUs in the morning with a hike through The Narrows at Zion National Park in the afternoon.

Senior Designer Tori Kropp joined architects, owners, and contractors for two days that managed to be both genuinely educational and genuinely fun. The CEU day included a live waterproofing demonstration using Schluter products, a good reminder that understanding a material up close changes how you specify it.

Thank you to the wonderful team at Schluter for the experience.

Color theory, but make it personal. Our team traded fabric swatches for lipstick shades at MYX N Match in the West Village, mixing custom colors from scratch.

Thank you to Pagett Smith of Trio Resources for hosting, and to Alyssa Weiss of Workshop Twenty One for joining us. Finding the perfect shade is a familiar challenge for a room full of designers, and it was fun to take that eye for color somewhere new.

Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi is open.

Curio Collection by Hilton's first resort in Hawaiʻi sits above Nāwiliwili Bay and Kalapakī Beach, with views to the Pacific and Hāʻupu Mountain. 210 rooms, 23 of them suites, with floor-to-ceiling windows and private lānai.

It was an honor to work alongside the interiors, working alongside architects Hart Howerton and AHL to design the interiors and we're excited that the property is now open to the public.

Congratulations to the Hilton and Hōkūala teams on the opening!

Hale Hōkūala Kauaʻi has opened as part of Hilton's Curio Collection, marking the brand's entry into Kauaʻi and expanding Hilton's portfolio of independent upscale resorts in Hawaii.

We had a great time at Stay and Gather’s StayConnect in Chicago.

Senior Designer Josh Raether represented our Chicago studio, joining leaders from JLL , Interior Image Group, and Harken Interiors on the Business of Design: The Design Process panel.

It was a candid conversation about collaboration, the realities of the design process, and the lessons learned along the way. Proud to see Josh bring our studio’s perspective to the table.

Thank you to Stay&Gather for a great week, and to everyone who connected with the team in Chicago.
