Another great trip to Round Top! I found some amazing pieces for my clients, but there were a few I loved and left behind. Here are some I’m still thinking about!

A dining room can be so much more than a place for special occasions. I use my own as a workspace, and for clients, a dining table might double as a library table, game table, or project space.

The goal is to make the room work for everyday life, then easily transition back to dining when it’s time to entertain.

If you had told me a few years ago that I would have fun being in front of the camera and making videos, I’m not sure I would have believed you. Sharing more of my world, my love of design, and the things that inspire me has been such a pleasure. And knowing you enjoy it too makes it even better.

Thank you for following along, for your kind words, and for your continued support. I’m so grateful to have you all here!

The client’s love of Moroccan color and texture was the starting point for this Connecticut family room. Deep ocean blue grasscloth set the tone, with rich textiles, pattern, and collected pieces throughout. I love how those influences sit within the character of a traditional Connecticut home. It gives the room so much warmth and personality.

In this interior primary bathroom at our Modernist Penthouse project, the challenge was to keep the room as large and open as possible. I split the room with a floor to ceiling bronze metal and glass wall, detailed to echo the streamlined windows of the 1930s. It separates the two halves of the bath without closing either one off. Oversized glass and bronze French Deco sconces bring in warmth and a bit of glamour, and the tub, centered on the wall opposite the vanity sinks, is carved from a single piece of white marble. For storage, I designed a custom toiletries cabinet in walnut and goatskin, which contrasts with the cool tones of the light blue matte tile and white marble. Every choice in this room was in service of the same goal: timeless, luxurious, and steeped in that 1930s modernist feeling.

Back with Part 2 of my World Market walkthrough! You can find some pretty kooky things here (and I certainly did), but there are always some great finds mixed in. Here’s what else caught my eye!

Fall is here, and I’ve always felt that seasonal decorating should last longer than a single holiday. I like to bring in the feeling of fall through deeper colors, warm candlelight, natural textures, and a few unexpected pieces that feel collected. The best part is that they can stay in place well beyond Halloween.

I’m sharing more of my approach to fall decorating in The Witching Hour blog, along with a ShopMy edit of pieces I love for bringing that same feeling into your home. Find both through the link in bio.

Looking back, this is a project that still really speaks to me. I’ve always been drawn to richer, more grounded tones, and I love how warm and inviting this home feels.

The family came from the East Coast, and preserving that sensibility was important. Muted colors, depth, and a sense of history give the home a collected, timeless quality.
