Hello wonderful group members! I want to share these hangers with you. They are tightly braided fiber covered hangers. They slide easy and are heavy duty enough to put more than one pair of pants on if you don’t have a lot of space. They hang evenly making it easy to see what you have. Let’s organize!

Decluttering it’s not just about moving things out of your house, it’s learning to keep things that serve your life and removing the things that don’t. If you remove things/declutter just for the sake of getting things out of your house then you haven’t changed anything. Finding out what you need and what you don’t need, what makes your life function more fully this will make the difference.

BATHROOM Looking something like this? See the next picture*Simple containers, categorizing items, folding towels for available space, using same containers for everyday sheets that are harder to fold for some. This all makes things eye appealing, easier to find, easier to keep up with. And can prevent piles!
*I always take measurements before buying containers. Organized home makes for a happy life!

Men need organizing too. In one sense it is easier to organize a men’s closet. They tend take less time getting ready. However, the placement of each item is very important and this is determined by by how he lives his life with the end result being how quickly and efficiently can he get dressed fo the day. This is what did in one clients closet by modifying organizing templates to suit the individual.

The only thing this client did not let me do is switch him over to velvet hangers. Which I am sure he will be back for as soon as he see his wife’s closet.

To be a good organizer. Organizing begins at home, it should be an over flow of what you do naturally. I agree better hangers(velvet slim). Everything should be arranged in an ease of access for you. If it tends to get out of order that suggests that it is not in a format for you.

Look at your space think of how you use it and then begin to arrange things in that order.

In my business I find bins and dividers sometimes useful but I don’t go there first. Most of the time spaces can be created and defined by putting things in like categories and simple folding. Fold for your space. Enjoy your space.

Debby Hamilton, Resident Home Organizer here. There is a dynamic to getting and keeping your home organized. At the core of the disorganization resides the cause. Lack of time, focus and emotions.
After many years of organizing homes and Business environments I have learned to find which category the organizing issues fall in. Lack of time or focus require systems that works for you as an individual, not a cookie-cutter approach. Most times you can’t throw some baskets in containers at things and hope that it works. I’ve seen this happen and it creates more of a problem. Emotional base organizing issues require discovery and then a system that works for your situation.
