If your kid’s LEGO collection keeps growing, this one’s for you.

We worked with Kameron on this playroom organization project. Her son’s LEGO collection had completely outgrown the space, so we designed a floor-to-ceiling shelving system built entirely from IKEA, ordered and assembled every piece, and organized the whole room, every completed build on display, every loose piece sorted for the next creation.

The result: a dedicated LEGO building space with trays to protect works in progress, shelving that celebrates years of hard work, and a system the whole family can actually maintain.

Kam said it best: “He’s in heaven, he’s been working at his desk every night.”

This is what it looks like when a kid’s passion gets the space it deserves, and it’s exactly why we love what we do!

Cheers to Labor Day weekend and all the fall hosting to come. Here are a few ideas to get your bar ready:

1. Group your glassware by type so the right glass is always easy to grab.
2. Corral your bottles on a tray instead of digging through the cabinet for each one.
3. If your bar area has drawers, use small acrylic dividers to give cocktail picks, straws, and specialty napkins their own spot instead of one big jumbled mess.

At the end of the day, hosting is about quality time with your guests. A little prep now means you get to actually enjoy your company later!

Here's a question for you: when your kids walk in the door after school, do they actually know where their papers go so you can look them over? Where the lunchbox lands? Where the shoes and backpack belong?

Honestly, that's it. That's the whole ask. A few small habits, not a big chore list. They drop their stuff where it belongs and then they're off to play.

That's the real gift in teaching kids to follow systems and take care of their own spaces from a young age. It's not about a spotless house. It's about a little responsibility and creating positive habits that stick.
