Reserve February 27 & 28 for the Ag Fest! Serious education offerings, vendors, and lots of fun. Great opportunity for those planing for spring chicks- there will be four presentations given by Author Gretchen Anderson, Dr. Schotz, and Domenica Protheroe. A rare opportunity to learn about family farm transfer. History of Hop lore for those that love beer and the mid-valley. Amy Garnett of OSU will discuss farming without irrigation. The wonderful movement of Farm to food bank partnering. Native American natural harvesting. Restoring soil health. Gretchen Anderson author of The Backyard Chicken Fight will give two presentation of Secrets of the Lazy Urban Chicken Keeper- she gives an awesome class! I will give a presentation on Winter Coops- Plan for the Worst and Hope for the Best. There will be additional educational offerings, as well. A great event for the whole family.
