Look At How Big These Plants Are! First off, I’ll be at the Tillamook Farmer’s Market Saturday August 29th! I have some hearty farm to table salsa this year and I’m excited to share with the community. In the meantime and in between time, my pepper plants are reminding me of my first love in horticulture 🌶️ 😍. So now I’m shifting gears and looking forward to releasing my pepper products in the fall as well.

Kaleidoscope harvest for my birthday 🥳

Every year I grow new peppers and tomatoes. Every year I have a wide variety of flavors to work with. Every color is a different flavor. Here I have some Hungarian hot wax, banana peppers, a scotch bonnet, Gypsy pepper, maybe big Jim chili’s and purple jalapeños, Italian roasters, random tomatoes. Now ripening are my sugar rush peach, sugar Rush stripe, scotch bonnets, habaneros, and a handful of other varieties 🤤

This journey is never ending. I’ve been doing it for years but I’m always just getting started 😋. I love learning from other gardeners, especially those that have their go-to peppers and tomatoes. It’s always something new to try.

I have countless seeds and varieties and tend to switch it up every year. This year my focus is shifting back to peppers. Now that I feel even more acclimated to the PNW, I’m bringing the exotics out. Really excited about my upcoming pepper harvest.

Growing peppers in Rockaway Beach, Oregon cause I’m a Texas-Floridian at heart 🥹 I’ve started seeds as early as November 1st to harvest this year. Even with the cold and rainy climate, with limited heat and sunlight, thanks to grow lights, strategic timing of taking outside for sunlight, and the use of hoop houses, I’ve been harvesting peppers on the North Oregon Coast. I have some high value varieties that I’m excited to share with the world. Stay tuned for what else I have growing! 🌶️
