Commonly known as the Chinese ground orchid, it is a species native to Japan, Korea, Myanmar (Burma), and China (Anhui, Fujian, Gansu, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Sichuan, Zhejiang). Just plant it in well draining soil in part shade, especially morning sun and afternoon shade in hot climates.
Flowering plants in these photographs are growing in Sunnyvale California for over 30 years. It just gets watering whenever.

Please join us March 14-15 ar Shepard Garden and Arts Center at McKinley park in Sacramento. We will be selling cymbidiums with spikes and many in bloom. Sale opens at 10am, ends at 4pm on Saturday and opens at 10am, close at 3pm on Sunday.
Please come and also enjoy sales by other garden clubs.
