Bilek's Gutter Cleanout and window screen repair We are a family owned business located in Dana, Indiana. Not too many jobs allow this to be possible. Then we will wash out or spray all gutters and downspouts.

I started this little gig as an opportunity to have my Autistic son a chance to work with me side by side. Working independently provides this opportunity for us to work together and at our own pace allowing me to show my son one of many trades and services that are available to choose from while earning an income. We service West Central Indiana and East Central Illino

is providing a simple service that is usually overlooked or simply forgotten. Gutters are essential to water runoff especially during downpours. All too often they get clogged with all kinds of debris such as tree limbs, leaves and those pesky helicopters! Though cleaning gutters isn't rocket science, getting to those gutters to clean out can be a challenge. I have extensive experience handling and climbing tall ladders. Once there, we will clean out, inspect and remove all debris. If there is any visible damage or wear and tear from age, we can document and let you know what was found. If it is a simple fix, it can often be repaired on site for a modest charge. Average price is calculated by linear feet. One story home...$1 per feet. (without gutter guards)
two story home....$1.75 to $2.50 per feet. (depending on home design and without gutter guards)

Please note, if gutter screens (guards) have to be removed, it will affect price. $ .75 to $1.50 /ft. depending on installation. Also, there are homes that we may not be able to service due to size and complexity. Most one and two story homes are serviceable but anything taller than 2 stories is out of my reach at this time. Another service we provide is repairing window screens. I have extensive experience in this as well. Most screens can be removed from the window itself to be repaired. If the frame is repairable or in good condition, the screen can be replaced. Prices start at $35 and up depending on window size. Patio door screens can also be repaired. Size and home complexity usually don't affect service availability. Window screen replacement starts at $35 and up depending on size. Patio screens...$125 and up depending on design and size. With the early spring warm weather here, there are some that are wanting to get those weathered damaged screens replaced. Well guess what? I've decided to start scheduling orders now! Though we're not out of the winter woods yet, it's just a matter of time that the warmer temperatures will be among us. (Yay!) So if you're in need of those window screens replaced, patio screen slider rescreened or perhaps your storm door could use some attention, please give me a shout! I currently offer standard screen, pet screen and super screen! An excellent alternative to the thick pet screen used on patio screen doors but made for windows. INSIDE JOB...

With the weather getting cold and wet, I've been looking into other job opportunities. My experience goes well beyond gutter and screens. I used to do flooring years ago in my youth and I still have all the tools of that trade as well. This is something I've been toying with offering as I do still enjoy laying laminate flooring. This job was completed in one day by myself. It was a long day but nevertheless, it got done! Living room,kitchen and 2 hallways.

GUTTER MAINTENANCE

Yes, that time of year is here. All the leaves have pretty much fallen and are now undoubtedly, sitting in your gutters making it difficult to do their job. Over time it will make its way into the downspouts as a result, clogging them up like a stuffed drain. Even if you have gutter guards, over time debris will cake up a layer and eventually cover the screens. I've seen this a few times. Even gutters with gards installed correctly will need maintenance from time to time. I recommend at least once a year to get them brown off. That's usually all it takes. The great thing about gutter gards is that it keeps the downspouts from clogging which will save you money on getting them cleaned out.

It's unavoidable. Especially if you have a yard full of trees. So if its been awhile since your last gutter cleaning, please get them taken care of.

Fall is here and Winter is rapidly approaching! Let's get them cleaned before Mother Nature brings the big chill!

I thought, what an excellent idea! I told him that he was the first to request this. So, here it is. I will have to offer this in the future. We specialize in rescreening windows, patio sliders and most storm doors. Not to mention aluminum frame rebuilds and screen frame repair. All our work is done on location and in most cases, completed on that day. We also offer screen mesh options! Such as...

Standard fiberglass mesh (economical and functional)

Superscreen, a tough and very durable vinyl screen mesh that's both screen eating bugs and climbing critter proof! Works well in traditional window screen frames, storm doors and patio sliders.

PET SCREEN, a popular request when replacing screens in patio sliders. Very strong and excellent for homes with cats, dogs and climbing critters.

We do offer aluminum screen installation as well upon request. We don't get much call for these but we do install them. Aluminum screening is a durable screen but it's not pet proof nor does it hold up well with climbing critters. It is a step up from Standard fiberglass mesh.

These are our current options to choose from. We hope to expand our screen selection by next spring.

FULL HOUSE RESCREEN...

Just finished up a home here in Dana. Really gives it a fresh new look.

All my work is done on location. I have all the professional tools of the trade including a screen frame jig. This really helps in keeping the frames square along with a professional install of new screen. This tool has been a game changer.
