Here is Frenchy #121- "Observing Otters on the Smith River, Danbury New Hampshire". One day I came across an otter by the side of the road who didn’t make it down to the river. Today I chose to paint the river the way I wish that morning had gone — alive, peaceful, and full of possibility.

Here is Frenchy #120 - "I'll be with You at Apple Blossom Time". It's a small farm's orchard near my house and I wanted to capture these old apple trees in blossom on a beautiful spring day last month with a pair of visiting mourning doves.

Here's a painting I did in Aug. 2024. This is Frenchy #51 "Cannonball: The View of Blodgett's Landing from Cressy Point" . The original of this painting hangs in the beautiful, Lake Sunapee home where I stood by the shoreline to get the inspiration for this painting.

Those of you following my recent paintings of New England Narrative Naturalism will see that this was my first work that has a realistic looking animal. The moss and pine needle covered rock with the pine tree on top and the chipmunk were my first attempt at this style way back then. Here is Frenchy #116- "Mr. Beaver's got a Lot of Moxie". Beavers are notorious for using "found" objects to help them create their dams. This one is painted of an area just to the north of me but right now beavers keep trying to dam up the river across the road from my house. This is a nice 16"x20" acrylic on canvas.

Here is "Frenchy # 115- A Crab's Home is his Castle" at Hampton Beach, NH. A nice, 12x16 on cradleboard, ready to hang. It can be framed but since it's painted around all 4 edges you can hang out as is by it's installed, sawtooth hanger. A chance to own an original Frenchy at an affordable price.

I really enjoy painting scenes all across NH.
