Good day to you!
As some of you are aware the monitoring center that we have used for 15 years had some updates last month that did not go as well as I would have liked them to go. I have heard you guys thoughts on how to move forward and have decided that we needed a change. So with that in mind I have contracted with another monitoring center to take care of us going forward. Next Tuesday June 27th in the morning we will be transitioning your account over to the new central station. You might notice your keypad beeping, if so that's normal. Just disarm the system 2 times and it should clear. After the changeover the phone calls and text message will be originating from the same phone number 833-697-0383. You can store this number into your phone as it should be the number they call/text from every time.
At the new monitoring center you will have 2 options
1st option and it will be defaulted unless you tell me otherwise.
An enhanced text message with a link inside to acknowledge the alarm notification. If you or anyone on your contact list selects the link then no phone calls will occur. If no one looks at the link inside the text message then a robocall will occur within 60 seconds of the text message. The robocall will go through the phone list two times or until someone presses a button to acknowledge the call.
2nd option
An analog text with a robocall within 30 seconds of text message. The text will include the description of the alarm. The robocall will go through the phone list two times or until someone presses a button to acknowledge the call.
If you have issues with phone numbers or descriptions of alarms that are inaccurate please bring it to my attention and we will get it fixed up. With the new company I have more flexibility in adjusting this info from my office.
