Homemade Vanilla Extract has no dyes or added sugars. It’s all so much cheaper. The vodka and vanilla bean pods cost me about $1.50 per oz of extract AND then I also have 25 vanilla bean pods that allow me to keep making more.

Lazy lasagna is cheaper than takeout, about the same amount of time as delivery, and a great way to train other cooks in the household. FYI, I used a jar and a half of sauce and the better part of a family pack of ravioli.😊

Delicious Homemade Bread for under a dollar a loaf!πŸ˜‹πŸ₯– 3 Cups Bread Flour, 1.5 Cups Warm (not hot) Water, 1 tsp Active or Instant Yeast, 1 tsp Kosher Salt, 1/2 tsp Sugar Thoroughly mix ingredients into a sticky dough, cover and allow to proof in a warm place anywhere from 4 to 16 hours but you will get the best result allowing it to proof. 12-16 hours. Heat cast iron Dutch Oven in 450Β° oven and shape dough into a ball, place onto parchment paper (optional), cover and allow to proof an additional 15-20 minutes.Bake for 30 minutes on center rack, then remove lid and bake an additional 10-15 minutes. Remove from Dutch Oven and allow to cool on rack for at least 1 hour before slicing. Enjoy!πŸ˜‹
